Lunch on the Side Pirate Boat: What Is Served on Each Day
Lunch is part of the fare on both pirate days, and it is eaten on board. Here is what each day serves, what to ask about, and what you pay for on top.
Short answer
Both pirate days include lunch on board. On the pirate boat trip it is lunch with kid-friendly favourites; on the kids' pirate programme the children's menu is spaghetti, chicken fingers or fish fingers. Drinks are not part of either fare — extra drinks on the pirate boat trip and bar drinks on the kids' programme are paid separately.
Lunch on the pirate boat trip
Lunch comes after the morning's games and swim stops, and it is served on board: lunch with kid-friendly favourites.
What that wording does tell you is who the meal is planned around. If your children are wary of unfamiliar food, the meal is pitched towards them rather than away from them.
The kids' lunch on the kids' programme
Here the menu is specific: spaghetti, chicken fingers and fish fingers. It comes after the river-mouth swim and the games, and before the foam party.
It is a kids' lunch. If the adults in your party want to know what they will eat, ask us before you book rather than assume.
Anything beyond the lunch menu counts as an extra snack and is paid for on board.
Drinks
Drinks are where the bill can grow, so it is worth being clear. On the pirate boat trip, extra drinks are not in the fare. On the kids' programme, drinks from the onboard bar — with or without alcohol — are not in the fare either.
Bring euros, ask the price before you order, and consider a bottle of water per child in your own bag for the transfer. The extra costs guide covers the rest of what is paid on the day.
Allergies, vegetarians and fussy eaters
If someone in your party has an allergy or a strict diet, write to +90 536 603 75 84 on WhatsApp ahead of booking and name it exactly. We will tell you what we can find out, and you can decide with the answer in hand. For a child with a serious allergy, pack food you know is safe as well — that decision is yours to make, not ours.
For a fussy eater, the kids' programme menu is the most predictable of the two, simply because it is written down.
Timing the day's eating
Lunch falls midway through about 6 hours out. A good breakfast at the hotel before pickup, and a snack in your bag for the drive, keep small children going until it arrives.
After lunch on the kids' programme comes the foam party, so a little gap between the spaghetti and the dancing is no bad thing — but that is up to the crew's rhythm on the day.
Both days, both lunches and both fares are set out on the prices page; the full order of events is in the itinerary guide.
