Pirate Boat From Side Town: Hotel Pickup and Changing Hotels

You book online with the name of your hotel. On the eve of the trip, a message reaches the phone number you gave us with the time to be ready and the exact spot at the hotel. An air-conditioned vehicle comes for you, and the same transfer returns you after the trip. Nothing is added to the fare for this: the pirate boat trip charges grown-ups €20, while children aged 2 to 10 travel for €14; on the kids' pirate programme each guest from 2 pays €23.

We do not print a clock time for the hotel collection on this site, because it is worked out hotel by hotel once the day's bookings are known. The kids' day is the one fixed point: the ship sails at 10:00, and your pickup is timed so you are on board for it.

Moving hotels in the middle of your holiday

If your holiday is split between two hotels, one rule keeps the pickup right: the hotel in the booking must be the one you leave from on the morning of the trip. If you book while still at your first hotel for a date after the move, enter the second hotel's name.

Already booked under the old hotel? Send us a WhatsApp message with your booking name, the date and the new hotel, ideally well before the day-before message goes out. Moving to an area outside the belt we serve turns the booking into an enquiry, and we will tell you what can be arranged.

Getting the form right

• Start typing your hotel's name and pick it from the list; the area fills in by itself.
• If your hotel is not in the list, choose to type it yourself and select Side as the area.
• Add the room number — it helps if the driver needs to ask at the desk.
• Give a phone number with its country code, and tick the box if it is on WhatsApp.

At reception on the morning

Come down a few minutes early with the whole party, everyone already in swimwear under their clothes. Have your phone charged and switched on in case the driver needs to reach you, euros ready for the fare, and a bag with towels, hats and sun cream. Children's costumes are handed out on board on the pirate boat trip, so there is no need to dress them up at the hotel unless they insist.

Paying and cancelling

No card is ever asked for when you book. You pay in euros once the trip day comes, and a cancellation made 48 hours or more ahead costs nothing. The full list of areas is on the hotel pickup page, and booking directly explains how our terms work.
