Pirate Boat Trip or Kids' Pirate Programme: Which Side Day?
Both days use the pirate ship, both collect you from your hotel and both take about 6 hours. What differs is the route, the programme on deck and, above all, how the fare works.
Short answer
Choose the pirate boat trip if you want a coast cruise with swim stops, costumes for the children and a treasure hunt, and if your children are aged 2 to 10: they pay €14 while adults pay €20. Choose the kids' pirate programme if the children want face painting, the foam party and a swim at the river mouth — but know that everyone from 2 pays the same €23, adults included.

What the two days share
The hotel transfer is part of the fare on both days, in an air-conditioned vehicle, there and back. Neither day has a published pickup time: each hotel gets its own time, sent on the eve of the trip by call or WhatsApp. Both are built around children, and both have a treasure hunt and pirate games on deck, so a family cannot really pick wrongly — the question is which version suits yours.
The way you pay is the same too. You give no card details when booking; euros change hands on the trip day itself, and you can cancel without charge until 48 hours before the start.
Where the money comes out differently
This is the point most worth checking before you book. On the pirate boat trip, children from 2 up to 10 are charged the lower fare, while everyone aged 11 or more is charged the adult fare. On the kids' pirate programme there is no child fare at all: a parent, a grandparent and a small child each pay €23. Only children under 2 ride free, on either day.
So for two adults and two children in the child band, the coast trip is two × €20 plus two × €14, and the kids' day is four × €23. Work out your own party the same way; the prices page sets out every fare in one place.
Which one suits which family
- Children who love dressing up and a sea swim: the pirate boat trip, where costumes are handed out as they board and you may bring your own.
- Children who want a party: the kids' programme, with music, Halay and children's dances in the foam on deck.
- A family that likes a fixed start: the kids' programme, because the ship sails at 10:00 and the transfer is timed around it.
- Older children near the top of the child band: compare both fares carefully, since a child turning 11 moves to the adult fare on the coast trip.
Doing both in one holiday
Nothing stops you booking the two days on different dates. They differ enough — coast against river, costumes against face painting, swim stops against the river-mouth swim — that the second day does not feel like a repeat. Each booking gets its own day-before message. The swim stops guide and the treasure hunt guide go deeper into each part of the day.
